What is Consciousness?

​

Consciousness is a form of awareness that is naturally present in human beings and all living things.

As human beings, our level of awareness, determines how life giving energy that is always flowing, naturally, within us, is directed. Imagine being able to know how to enhance this awareness and harness this energy in a way that optimizes how you operate. 

​

Operating from consciousness is easy to learn. It’s the ability to use the mind in a very different way to how most of us have been parented, schooled and generally conditioned to. Mind is simply a tool to enact choice through the awareness of consciousness.

 

Knowing how to harness your energy is the most potent and efficient way of creating long lasting change. This is consciousness transformation.

 

Consciousness simply knows. So you don’t have to know it all.

  • Its silent and clear.

  • Its energizing and freeing.

  • Its about connectedness to all things and everyone.

  • Its about a win-win.

  • It’s a much more expansive and resourceful way of operating as a human being.

Through my experience as a coach, facilitator and educator I’ve discovered that most people already know how to do a lot of stuff in their lives and at work. In fact their minds are overflowing with stuff.  From the minute their eyes open in the morning to when they go to bed, their minds are busy and whirring non-stop.

 

Some of the symptoms that cause people to feel like they are going insane include feelings of anxiety and overwhelm, feeling frustrated, irritable and angry and totally drained of energy; a lot of the time or at times for no apparent reason. This is due to persistently elevated levels of stress that cause certain stress response changes in our body.

 

The science of biophysics has shown evidence of the natural energy fields of the mind body system. Understanding your mind-body interrelationship and the way that it works could transform your work, career, life, relationships, health and wellbeing.

 

Most of us have learnt or been taught to use our minds in a way that uses mostly comparison or judgement and a lot of rules about what we are supposed to do and how we are supposed to be.

 

Mind sees a world that is divided up into me vs. you, us against them, lack and fear. Perceiving reality from this perspective can make it feel like life is difficult and frustrating and that there are limited possibilities. We’ve been conditioned to believe that if we do more, we have more.The result is we live in even more “doing” mode, to get the outcomes we want. Day in, day out, it’s the same exhausting game. You feel you get less back than you put in energetically. The energy exchange doesn't balance.

Your mind may often feel like its so noisy, that you feel its impossible to switch off. It may be challenging to relax deeply, unless you exercise intensely, use alcohol, drugs or medication or go away on a break or holiday. Many people use distraction as their main strategy of switching off. This is good in the short term, but compromises the ability of your mind body system to rest and recover.
